2012 Charlotte Quilter’s Guild - Teacher Grant
The Charlotte Quilters’ Guild Fiber Art Education Grant provides up to $1000 to a middle or high school art teacher. The purpose of the scholarship is to finance a textile or fiber-related educational experience that can be brought back to the classroom. The techniques learned will be shared with the Charlotte Quilters’ Guild through a presentation or workshop and with other art teachers through school system sponsored workshops and presentations.

Middle or high school teachers in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools system or in a public school system of a neighboring county are invited to apply. Those applying from a school system in a neighboring county must be sponsored by a member of the Charlotte Quilters’ Guild who lives in that county.

2012 Charlotte Quilter’s Guild - Member Grant
The Charlotte Quilter’s Guild annual grant is a $600.00 grant, awarded to
an active guild member in January 2012 for the purpose of attending a
class or workshop. In return for receiving the award the grant winner
agrees to reciprocate the knowledge gained at the workshop back to the
guild in the manner listed on the grant application by January 2013.
